We pray to Muhammad Fuad Abdul Baqi (may God have mercy on him) who collected and presented a valuable book to Muslims, may he have mercy and forgiveness from the Almighty God, and may his status be in Paradise. Sheikh H. was born in Cairo on the 3rd of Jumadal Abul 1299 (March 1882). Muttafiqun Aleyh means a word or issue that is united in the eyes. It means that the Companions are united and none of them are opposed. In the hadith, the hadith imams agree on the authenticity of a hadith and say that the hadith is authentic.
This book was called Muttafiqun Alayh because it was collected from Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim. Because many scholars who came after them said that the presence of a hadith in Bukhari and Muslim is enough for the hadith to be authentic. It has gained great trust in the Islamic world and many scholars have agreed on the authenticity of the hadiths contained in it. Ibn Asir (may God have mercy on him) says: "Both of them gave their books the name Sahih and were the first scholars to give it the name Sahih." These two scholars remained faithful to what they said and justified this trust, therefore God justified them in the east and the west, on land and in water. The reason for this is that their intentions are true, their hearts are sincere, and the hadiths they wrote in their books are authentic." (Jamiul usul Fi Hadisil Rasul 41,42. ) It has been accepted as the most reliable ruling after the Holy Quran.
